About Climacure

Climacure performs the same protective work as a desiccant dehumidifier but to a quarter of the energy consumption. This gives house-owners the possibility to effectively and efficiently protect their crawlspaces at a low annual operating cost. In addition, no service is needed and the equipment is completely silent.
Rolf Jonsson, former Technical Manager at Munters Sweden

The best method to protect the crawlspace is to provide heat, either with a heating fan or heating cables.
Ingemar Samuelsson, SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden – said during a lecture at Byggcentrum, Göteborg 2007-09-28

I decreased the moisture ratio in the dead floor from more than 26 % to a safe 17 % in less than 4 months. Today, Climacure consumes less than 500 kWh per year and the crawlspace is completely safe.
Peter Persson, Göteborg

After I had Climacure installed, I have checked and followed up on changes concerning the climate of the crawlspace. This follow-up has been done by using a temperature meter, a moisture meter and Probiks sensors. The result of the follow-up shows that after having installed Climacure, the climate of the crawlspace has strongly improved and the risk of damp and mould related damages has been averted.
I have just bought my third Climacure and I will install it in the crawlspace of the back building.
Stefan Wilson, Stockholm

After an inspection of the crawlspace it was established that there were an extensive amount of white mould. The first suggestion was to exchange the entire dead floor and install a desiccant dehumidifier. The cost exceeding more than 10 000 euros. I found Climacure on the internet, performed a sanitation with ozone whereafter I installed Climacure Crawlspace Double. It cost me less than 1500 euros. Nowadays the house feels healthy and the mould is dead.
Anders Svensson, Lund

“The heating kept the relative humidity below threshold values very effectively…. (and) prevented all mould growth. The annual energy consumption for the heating of a crawlspace was generally small….about 3 kWh per square metre”
Ph D Miimu Matilainen, Energy and Buildings, University of Helsinki

“For a lot of people it feels wrong to supply heating outside the living area, but studies have shown that fairly small amounts of energy are needed in order to produce great improvements in the climate”
SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden 2005-10-24

“The only thing we know for sure is that without measures for increased moisture control there will be damp related damages. The most common designs we find in the crawlspaces that are built today and in the extensive publication there is on crawlspaces…are an evaporative seal on the ground, heat insulation on the ground and ... a heater.
SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden 2005-10-24

“The most effective and simple solution to prevent conditions favourable to mould growth is heat insulating ground cover… in combination with additional heat
